Les attitudes vis à vis des communautés anglophones sont matière à mise à plat interculturelle : par exemple, est-il pertinent de faire prendre conscience que ces attitudes seraient excessivement positives (constituant alors le signe d'une acculturation non assumée ou encore un moyen pour des stratégies de distinction sociale déjà partiellement périmées) ou, à l'inverse, excessivement critiques, au nom d'identités « locales » / nationales ou d'idéologies « anti-mondialistes », par exemple, qui ne seraient qu'une des variétés contemporaines de l'ethnocentrisme ?
